After my art festival in Hobe Sound I was feeling anxious and just wanted to get out and shoot. I headed down to a preserve and wandered around for a bit but was not feeling the area I was in. I went back the way I came and headed down to the beach. The storms off in the distance from the shore made me feel right at home again and I knew I wanted to capture this moment. The sunset was narrowly creeping through the clouds and I took a long exposure to add a dramatic effect as the ocean washed back to the sea.
