When I went to Myakka River State Park there were gators all over the place. The park reportedly has over 10,000 of them in their waters. In the way out of the park I saw one sitting in some shallow water on the edge of the lake. I loved how docile but intense this one seemed and being able to see its foot through the shallow water added some extra depth and character to this shot.
