In the fall of 2023 I committed myself to attempting to shoot the fall for at least one day to capture some great fall photos. I loaded up in the truck and spent 11 hours driving this day in order to get a fall collection this year. As I got further into the woods I came across this collection of ferns in the forest. I moved around the ferns looking for interesting shots to take until I decided to get under these ferns. The sun lit up the fern leaves perfectly and the complexity of the ferns amongst the aspen trees was intriguing to capture.
