I headed out east in the summer of 2023 to chase a severe storm cell that was developing near the airport. As I got closer I started seeing a rainbow form more intensely over the horizon. I decided to chase that part of the cell first so I could get a full rainbow shot, something I have only seen less than a handful of times. I lined up and took a full show of the rainbow poking through this severe storm cell. This was one of the coolest moments I have ever had storm chasing and I will remember taking this shot the rest of my life.
