Back in 2021 we were lucky enough to get permits to go hike the famous “Subway” of Zion National Park. It is a steep decent into the canyons of Zion with a number of obstacles along the way. I will never forget walking up to the subway and being completely enamored that water could naturally carve out this beautiful subway through the middle of sandstone at the bottom of the canyon. There was a waterfall that ran through the back of the canyon that we couldn’t access but it showed why there was so much water running through this beautiful area. This is a must do hike for adventure seekers and something I hope to do again in the future.
