I started noticing the sunrises were blowing up in colors just before the time change started in the Fall of 2023. I decided to go out early the following day to the lake when the clouds looked like they would lend well to an amazing sunrise. I got down to the lake and I saw this beautiful log with dead plants all over it and I knew I had to get in the water to get the proper shot. It was 34 degrees out so the water was pretty close to freezing but it was definitely worth the experience. This is one of my favorite sunrises I have ever captured.
