On the way back from South Dakota we saw a massive storm cell developing right in front of us.  There were beautiful mammatus clouds that were blanketing the edges of the cell as we drove in.  The light was quickly drowned out from the darkness and it was pouring in seconds.  The lights and shadows were interplaying wonderfully as we drove through the countryside and lightning was starting to rip around us.  As we turned onto this road, I saw the light starting to break through the clouds in a deeply profound way.  I pulled off to the side and got out in the pouring rain.  The farming equipment in the distance at the end of the road gave the perfect perspective to the size and massive scale of this storm.
