Sleeping Bear Dunes is a tough landscape to capture.  There are dunes spread throughout the area but they are hard to encapsulate with the beauty of the wilderness surrounding them.  We went on a sunset hike through the forest only to find ourselves on the coast just as the sun was going down over the horizon.  We searched around for the perfect spot until we came across this location that showcased the sun setting over Lake Michigan with the highlights on the sand and foliage.
