I headed out east to chase a cell that was supposed to blow up near Wray, Colorado. I caught a rainbow and a couple cloud shots before I headed into the cell. After a few minutes of intense rain and lightning I decided to pull back and stay on the periphery of the cell. I hung out near Last Chance, CO and shot the rest of the sunset before I headed out to a country road to catch the lightning of this cell blowing up. I loved the layers of this photo with the greens and browns of the foreground against the lightning and clouds in the background.
