On my first time fully committing to a storm chase I saw this cell that was going to form out east near Hugo, Colorado. I headed out east about 4 hours before it formed and chased this cell out about 2.5 hours away from Denver. The sunset was happening around the same time the cells started becoming very active. There was some lightning off at the end of the road and I was trying to figure out the best ways to frame the scene with the lightning and sunset intersecting at the same time. This was one of the first times I started creating art with my storm photography.
