On my first time fully committing to a storm chase I saw this cell that was going to form out east near Hugo, Colorado. I headed out east about 4 hours before it formed and chased this cell out about 2.5 hours away from Denver. The sunset was happening around the same time the cells started becoming very active. I wanted to incorporate the fencing in a shot because I feel that it truly gives the image a sense of place on the eastern plains. I loved the way this single bolt aligned perfectly with the fence posts.
