Breckenridge, Colorado

$39.95

The photo that inspired this art was taken in Breckenridge, Colorado in 2019 when I went troll hunting for this troll that was dropped into the wilderness. Thomas Dambo builds wooden trolls all over the world with his team using recycled products to inspire people to be mindful of overconsumption through his artwork.  Isak Heartstone was built in Breckenridge in 2018 but faced controversy due to the volume of people it brought to the neighborhood he was built in. The troll was dismantled in 2019 and brought back to life in another, less populated area of town later that year.  Isak has a special place in the Colorado wilderness and brings joy and awareness to the beauty of recycled products to all that visit him.

About the Adventure Artography Posters

For a long time, I’ve envisioned a series of art posters that bring the beauty of the wild into the home of every art lover and outdoor enthusiast. This collection is a curated journey through a decade of my global travels—ranging from the rugged peaks of my home state, Colorado, to bucket-list landscapes like New Zealand and our most iconic National Parks.

By thoughtfully transforming my original photography into 'Artography,' I’ve aimed to preserve the soul of each location while adding an artistic flair that gives every piece its own unique, timeless character. My goal was to create a series that honors the authenticity of these landscapes while offering a fresh, painterly perspective on the places we love to explore.

About the Print

We believe your walls deserve more than just a flimsy piece of paper. That’s why our posters are printed on premium, museum-grade matte paper that feels as sturdy as a trail map and looks twice as good. We’ve skipped the glossy finish so you can enjoy the view without any annoying glares from your windows.

The Details (In Plain English):

  • Built to Last: This is thick, heavyweight paper—not the kind that wrinkles the second you touch it.

  • Colors That Pop: We use a high-brightness, crisp white paper sourced from Japan to make sure the 'Artography' colors stay vibrant and true.

  • No Peek-a-Boo: The paper is nice and opaque, meaning it won’t look see-through if you hang it on a colorful wall.

Made Just for You We don't keep a dusty warehouse full of old prints. To keep things green and avoid wasting paper, we print your poster specifically for you the moment you order it. It takes us just a tiny bit longer to get it to your door, but it means you’re getting a fresh print while helping us look out for the planet. Thanks for making a thoughtful choice for your home!
