This shot was admittingly tough for me to take. I took almost 300 photos during this shoot, but I loved the intensity of the waves slamming under the far pillars and capturing them during their explosion was tough. The waves at my feet were flowing in and out at a much slower rate which contributed to the silkiness even though this was a relatively fast exposure. Exposing the sun properly while capturing the highlights in the waves was driving me nuts. I love moments like this that push my technical skills and creativity all in the pursuit of taking the perfect photograph at any given moment.
