Frozen Flow

I hadn't been hiking much toward the end of 2025 and into 2026 much with so much in life going on. I finally got out at the end of January and headed to one of my favorite spots, Loch Vale. Some of the greatest moments of reflection on life have happened on this frozen lake and I come back every year to get my mind right. The second I saw this view all my worries and stress melted away as it always does the instant I lose myself in this winter bliss. I always try to take unique ice wave structures with Sharktooth Mountain in the background but this is by far one of my favorite shots I have taken here.
