Sky Pond is one of my favorite places on this planet. I usually make the journey up to the lake a few times a year as it offers a peaceful serenity that is difficult to replicate anywhere else. I was walking around the lake trying to shoot the wonderful reflections of the cathedral spires before I settled upon this location. I took some shots and started heading out shortly after this shot when I fell into the lake thinking a bush had a rock underneath it to step on. Fortunately I was able to save my camera from falling into the water otherwise this shot may have never existed.
