Back in 2022 I did a sunrise hike with my buddy Paul up to Lake Haiyaha to try to catch some unique morning light on the lake. Lake Haiyaha had a very unique turquoise character due to the glacial powder that entered the lake via a rock slide a couple of years prior. We hiked around the lake for a while before we came to this back side of the lake that featured a stunning view of Longs Peak in the early morning light through the forest.
