Sunrise at the Keyhole

In September of 2025 I agreed to hike Longs Peak with my friends for the second time in my life. I said in 2022 that I would never hike it again after I completed it but I decided to help my friends to the top. My only caveat was that we had to leave early so that we could make it to the keyhole in time for the sunrise. The clouds were moving in and out the entire night but they finally started to clear as the sun was coming over the ridge. Once the sunburst cleared the mountain it illuminated the rocks and clouds perfectly in another one of my favorite sunrises I have ever watched in my life.
