Lightning is mesmerizing with the complex ways the electrical discharge can break. It is very hard to be in the right place at the right time with bolts of wonder. I took this shot where I estimated the lightning would pop and I loved the complexity of the splintering bolts amongst the simplicity of this farm. We were in the back of my truck and I shot this through the window of my camper shell due to the wind and lightning being so intense outside.
