The night after we chased an epic storm toward the northeast corner of the state, we chased another one up near the Nebraska border and ended up quite a bit further than we expected. The lightning never showed up but the clouds of the storm at sunset were truly magnificent. I loved this storm cloud because it looked like a pirate with his hat on staring back at the sunset with the way the highlights lit this cloud up from behind. I have always been enamored with storm formations and this was one of my favorites I have ever captured.
